August 20th, 1948 marks the birth of one of the greatest frontman of all time arguably THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME -- Robert Plant! He turns 70 today. A year on August 20th another Classic Rock Legend born, Thin Lizzy's Bass Slappin' frontman, Phil Lynott! Then skip forward to 1966, Darrell Lance Abbott aka Diamond Darrell aka Dimebag Darrell came rollin' outta V-town! The greatest Metal guitarist, and in my opinion TOP 5 best guitarist EVER! Then there's Fred Durst. Born on this Day in 1970. No, not the greatest at anything...…..but being a Freshman in High School when Significant Other came out, there was a period where that was the only thing I would listen too. "Nookie" unavoidable on the MTV. It was a good time, and so Happy 48 Freddy!
