The Foo Fighters are counting down at foofighters.com and the big reveal will be tomorrow at 1:45p. When you go the website it has empty airline seats, and when you click one and select continue it shows a countdown. Check it out for yourself Here.
My thoughts on the announcement:
Here's what we know so far, The Foo Fighters will be touring overseas from mid June through the beginning of July. The band is also rumored to be working in the studio on their 9th studio album in 2017. Although nothing has been reported from any Foo member. It was just a year and half ago when they surprised us with the "Saint Cecilia" E.P., and that came out of nowhere! So my guess is they'll fill in the summer with some more dates overseas, and select cities here in the U.S., (fingers crossed they give us something in the midwest) but I think it's too early for them to start teasing singles and soundbites. This could be the first big announcement leading up too several more exciting tidbits.
Dave Grohl has had over a year to plan his next move, and it'll be interesting to see how it all comes together. Hopefully Friday's announcement gives us a better idea of what's to come!
