"Nebraska often flies under the radar, but this rewarding road trip proves that the Cornhusker State has plenty to offer. The Lewis and Clark Scenic Byway (US Highway 75) runs for around 70 miles or so until it reaches Sioux City, another Nebraskan metropolis. Running adjacent to the Missouri River, the route is named after army commanders Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, who led an expedition in this region and beyond in the early 19th century. The road itself is extremely picturesque in parts, passing manicured farmland and lakes and rivers."
