Life is too precious to travel boring paths.

When you choose to liven up your route, the journey becomes less about point A to point B and more about the adventure in between.

While a handful of pleasant roads connect Nebraska, there is one with views that far exceed the rest. This route turns a simple drive into an expedition and a normal afternoon into an exceptional outing.

According to a list compiled by LoveExploring, the most beautiful scenic byway in all of Nebraska is the Lewis & Clark Scenic Byway. This road boasts some of the most majestic and picturesque views in the state, seen from the comfort of your vehicle!

Here's what LoveExploring had to say about the most beautiful scenic byway in the entire state:

"Nebraska often flies under the radar, but this rewarding road trip proves that the Cornhusker State has plenty to offer. The Lewis and Clark Scenic Byway (US Highway 75) runs for around 70 miles or so until it reaches Sioux City, another Nebraskan metropolis. Running adjacent to the Missouri River, the route is named after army commanders Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, who led an expedition in this region and beyond in the early 19th century. The road itself is extremely picturesque in parts, passing manicured farmland and lakes and rivers."
