We're going on almost 4 years since we heard new music from Queens of the Stone Age, and a few details have emerged from the desert about the bands 7th studio album. After some photos popped up a month or so ago featuring Dave Grohl in the studio with Queens, we know now that it was just a friendly visit by Dave, and not work oriented. So no Grohl, but we do know that the album will feature all of the bands current lineup: Josh, Troy, Dean, Michael, and Jon.
QOTSA frontman Josh Homme has done another outstanding job of not letting any big details sneak through the cracks, unless he wants them to, and earlier this week he chatted with news.com.au, and according to the conversation sometime in July we'll get a new single, release date perhaps, and who knows maybe even a title....EXCITING I KNOW!

As for the mysterious tweet earlier this week from QOTSA "coming twentyfive" (pictured below) WE STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IN THE HELL IT MEANS....
